The Nights of Lights celebration, which runs through the entire month of December at Guido Gardens, simply gets bigger and better with each passing year. ADMISSION IS FREE!
| And while children of all ages have thrilled to the animated light displays, the brilliant rainbow, Noahs Ark display and the walk along Candy Cane Lane, this past year's show had a special treat for the younger visitors with the addition of a childrens corner. Featured in this area were a Gingerbread House and couple, Frosty the Snowman, Bambi, and an animated lighted carousel. | ![]() |
Along with these new additions will be favorite displays from years past, including a patriotic display featuring an American flag, the Liberty Bell and a 15-foot silhouette of the Statue of Liberty. Visitors can also enjoy the Ten Commandments display along with an animated hummingbird and flower, the tree-climbing bears, the globe of the world with the Sower, a growing flower, the colorful peacock, and an animated fisherman and his boat. More than 1 million lights are used to provide this unique Christmas extravaganza.
In addition to the lighted displays, visitors will also stop for a brief moment in the glass-enclosed prayer chapel and can linger at the animated stable scene which includes Mary and Joseph with baby Jesus, the shepherds and Wise Men. In the background, the voice of The Sower, Dr. Michael Guido, retells the beloved story of the birth of Christ.
The lights will be turned on each night in December from 6 to 9:30 p.m. each evening. Visitors are invited to come to the gardens and bring family and friends to enjoy this special holiday outing.
